Amustela teaches dance either through her workshops or private and semiprivate lessons that can be arranged by appointment. If you would like to schedule an afternoon workshop for a group, Amustela currently has organized four basic lessons.
Workshop I - Basic Movements and Introduction to finger cymbals.
Workshop II - Basic Movement and combinations.
Workshop III - Basic choreography
Workhop IV - The Veil, Simply Beautiful.

Amustela provides detailed handouts and information for each workshop. All workshops are suitable for all levels of dancers and lasts approximately 3-4 hours.

This can be a great idea for a woman’s party! One of the most enjoyable teaching experiences Amustela ever had was doing an afternoon workshop for a bachelorette group - where they learned some basic moves and they all went out that evening to enjoy dancing at a Moroccan Restaurant.

Amustela focuses her beginning lessons on Egyptian Style Oriental Dance - this dance is more classic and subdued than some of the more earthy, gypsy styles you'll see in Turkey. Ater the basics are in place, she adds more drama and theatrics. There are variations within middle eastern dance, and Amustela encourages the dancer to blend them to develop your own personality as a dancer. Amustela’s philosophy is to enjoy the dance. This is a dance that uses the entire body and face to express to sensuous and beautiful spirit of a woman. Whether you do this audiences or for fitness ... dance first for yourself.
