"Always find the joy in the dance,

without emotion there is no dance.
I'm just having fun. "       Amustela

Amustela is an award winning performer and master instuctor of "Danse Orientale", Raks Sharqi  or Belly Dance with a long history of "restaurant performance" in the metropolitan DC area and now resides in Charlotte NC.   She was a regular presence in the DMV area restaurant and show scene from 2000 - 2017.   She is a fantastic workshop instructor and enjoys traveling to share her over 25 years of experience in the art.

From Amustela - I am currently booking for 2018 and 2019 workshops and performances.    I am not offering regular classes in the Charlotte NC area at this time.   Charlotte has an abundance of skilled teachers and my focus is currently on how I can augment and contribute to the Charlotte dance community and beyond.   I am available for private lessons or  coaching, video coaching,  lectures, workshops or day long intensives.

Amustela's dance style is described as vintage cabaret,  Oriental or "American Cabaret".   She is considered an expert in the evolution of this style in America and a master instructor in the art.   She is also a afficinado of the "Golden Age" of Egyptian Film
She is known for fun, informative and valuable workshops - please contact to book a workshop for your group, troupe or event!
